The Continuous Blessings Foundation continues to be a strategic partner helping to fund projects with the Triangle Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In June, CB Foundation funded 50 high school boys to attend a week of "perspiration and inspiration" at the Black Mt., NC FCA Camp. The student athletes on this trip were from Millbrook, East Wake, Cedar Ridge, Orange, Green Hope and Upper Room. For many, this week was a life changing experience where they improved in their respective sports and heard and saw the gospel lived out before them. Below are a few quotes from the guys after their week of FCA Camp:
"Camp got me so close to God. It allowed me to meet new people and develop my athletic skills"
Sam, Millbrook High School
"I had an awesome time. This was the first camp I've ever been to. I had a life changing experience"
Quamell, East Wake High School
"It's good when MEN care about other young men and help others"
D.J., Upper Room Academy
"I learned alot of things about Christ that I thought I already knew, but after hearing the messages, I realized I actually didn't. I will continue to learn and worship his name"
Tim, Cedar Ridge High School
"I got closer to Christ and I had a great experience I will never forget"
Tyler, Orange High School
"I learned more about my Lord and Savior. I also learned that I need to respect everybody. Even though we lost games in competitions, it made me more kind and respectful. It also helped me become more of a leader"
Austin, East Wake High School
"I found Christ"
Rha'Kwon, Millbrook High School
Thank you CB Foundation for partnering with FCA and making this possible for these student athletes!
