What is Fields of Faith?

Fields of Faith is a peer-to-peer ministry event. Students invite their own classmates and teammates to hear fellow students share their testimonies, be challenged to read the Word of God and follow Jesus Christ. An athletic field provides a neutral, interdenominational rally point where a community can come together.

Students combined with a leadership team will work together to run the event. The leadership team will work to form partnerships with churches in the area regardless of denomination and help plan their Fields of Faith event.

Fields of Faith
follows the method used by King Josiah. Most modern rallies are built around entertainment with professional speakers and this tends to create a separation. Fields of Faith highlights local students in the program creating a powerful connection. The success of this event is rooted in its simplicity:

1. Bring many people together at one time.

2. Read Scripture and share personal testimonies.

3. Be challenged by fellow students to read the Word of God and to follow Jesus Christ.

Quote from Fields of Faith participant:

"I was blown away by the experience. The music and speaker were both great, but hands down the most powerful part of the evening came in high schoolers' testimonies. Every student that took the stage spoke about what God was doing in each of their lives with such transparency and grace, it was really stunning. For a group of high school students to stand in front of their classmates and peers and share candidly about their struggles, addictions, and faults was truly inspiring. The Lord was so clearly at work in each of their lives, and instead of trying to "put up a front" that being a Christian meant they had it all figured out, they focused on their failures, explaining how Christ had reached down into their lives in the midst of suffering and sin. It was such a testimony to me of how much power and influence can be found in being real. Their testimonies were not compromised by sharing their shortcomings, they were strengthened by them"
